There are a number of key documents that need to be considered when developing sites within the Ouseburn Valley. These are: -

The Conservation Area Management Plan (2004) - (download PDF)Provides guidance through policy statements to assist in the preservation and enhancement of future development within the Valley
The Urban Design Framework (2004, 2005) - (download PDF)Provides detailed design guidelines and principles for the physical regeneration of the Valley at all levels from policy to forward planning and decision making, within the framework area.

Revised policy guidance on housing in light of emerging Regional Spatial Strategy (RSS) and Housing Market Renewal Pathfinder
Ouseburn Transport and Accessibility Study (2003) - (download .Zip)
Sets out parking standards and proposes a series of public car parking sites within various sub-areas of the Valley. This is achieved using a projected development scenario for the Valley.
Developer Contribution Model - (download PDF)
Developers will be expected to contribute towards funding for enhancement to the Ouseburn Valley including the public realm, open space, accessibility and safety as part of a Section 106 Agreement.
